Brown Paper tickets asked us to evolve and freshen their brand identity without leaving behind their grassroots sensibilities. As they continue to grow and attract a broader audience, they needed a little more design polish and a stronger voice to take them from being seen as just an “alternative” ticketing company, to being a leader in the entire ticketing industry.
We did a complete brand study for BPT and explored many different design options that played upon their current look and feel, but gave it a more modern vibe. We also created a new brand position for them, which was to move their focus from being strictly a "not just for profit" company, to creating a movement behind fixing the ticket industry. To solidify this position we created the tagline, “Brown Paper Tickets. Sell tickets. Don’t sell out.”
